OUR STUDIOS
At PodLab we can record podcasts, radio shows, social media content, webinars, tutorials, internal communications, presentations, public service announcements, briefings, audiobooks, voiceovers for commercials, or radio, TV, video games & animation, lectures, online courses, narration, live streaming, phone system recordings, guided meditation, training and development videos, how-to videos, remote work communications and more.
During your session, the Studio Engineer will live-switch cameras between the host & guests. After the recording is complete, the engineer will trim and process the audio and video and upload the files to a shared google drive, making them easily accessible for you to download. Your video file will be 1920 x 1080. You will also be given a separate audio file and 3 single camera files, useful for social media content.
We have a state-of-the-art studio in central Auckland available to hire for podcast & broadcast audio and video production.
STUDIO A
Studio in Action is nicknamed Bob after a former radio co-host of Jay-Jay who is sadly no longer with us. He was very creative and passionate and ahead of his time!
The studio has a round oak table that seats 4, plus TV screens for your logo or remote guests. Choose between black or light backdrops and customise lighting colours.
We use AT897 shotgun mics for audio and 3 PTZOptics Move SE cameras. An engineer switches live for a seamless edit & you receive a 1920x1080 video as well as single-camera files.
The studio hire includes your own Engineer and choice of backdrops (dark or light)
A WHISPER ROOM
Whisper Room is available for voice-only projects.
The booth looks like a Tardis or phone booth and is purpose-built for voice recording, eliminating about 75% of ambient noise. It is insulated with foam acoustic panels, giving you a clear, quiet, consistent and high-quality sound.
The Whisper Room is for audio projects only. Video is not included.
STUDIO B
Studio B with interchangeable sets, is under construction. Due by April 2025.
